Native to tropical regions of Asia, the rubber plant makes a great interior container plant because of its hardiness and minimal care.
WATER: Tolerates periods of drought. Add water once the top two inches of soil feels dry, or leaves are noticeably drooping. More at risk for overwatering than underwatering.
LIGHT: Medium to bright light, avoiding direct sunlight.
TEMPERATURE: Maintain between 60-90F.
FERTILIZER: Apply a balanced houseplant fertilizer at 1/2 strength once every other month during warm growing months.
