Also called Chinese Evergreen, Aglaonema is native to tropical forests of Southeast Asia. It is a classic houseplant which has been bred over the years for different leaf patterns and colors. It is a great addition for any home or office because of its tolerance for low light conditions.
WATER: Tolerates periods of drought. Add water once the top two inches of soil feels dry, or leaves are noticeably drooping. More at risk for overwatering than underwatering.
LIGHT: Medium to low light, avoid direct sunlight.
TEMPERATURE: Maintain beteen 60-85F. Avoid temperatures below 55F.
FERTILIZER: Apply a balanced houseplant fertilizer at 1/2 strength once every other month during warm growing months.
